Terms and Conditions for Classic London Taxi Tours

Welcome to Classic London Taxi Tours (classiclondontaxitours.com). These Terms and Conditions govern your booking and participation in our tours. Classic London Taxi Tours is a trading name of D&J Skone, a partnership registered in the United Kingdom.

By booking a tour with us, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms.

1. Bookings and Payments

Confirmation: A booking is only confirmed once we receive your payment and send a confirmation email.
Payment Processor: All online payments are securely processed through Square. We do not store your financial details.
Pricing: All prices listed on our website are in GBP (£). Prices include the vehicle, driver-guide, and fuel unless stated otherwise. Entrance fees to attractions are not included.

2. Cancellations and Refunds

Client Cancellation: If you need to cancel your booking, the following refund schedule applies based on when we receive your written notice via email:

14 days or more before the tour: 100% full refund.
Between 7 and 14 days before the tour: 50% refund.
Less than 7 days before the tour: Non-refundable (0% refund).

Operator Cancellation: In the rare event that we must cancel a tour due to extreme weather, vehicle breakdown, or unforeseen driver illness, we will offer you an alternative date or a 100% refund.

3. Passenger Capacity and Child Safety

Maximum Capacity: The maximum number of passengers permitted per taxi is strictly 6 people.
Child Booster Seats: Child booster seats are available upon request but are strictly subject to availability. Please inform us at the time of booking if a booster seat is required. Parents or guardians remain responsible for ensuring children are securely buckled.

4. Tour Timing and Delays

Punctuality: Please be ready at your designated pickup location at least 5 minutes before the scheduled start time.
Passenger Delays: If you are running late, please contact us immediately at office@classiclondontaxitours.com. Drivers will wait for a maximum of 15 minutes. Waiting time counts toward your total tour duration.
Traffic Delays: London traffic can be unpredictable. While we plan routes carefully, we are not responsible for delays caused by heavy traffic, road closures, or public events.

5. Passenger Conduct and Safety

Seatbelts: Under UK law, all passengers must wear seatbelts while the vehicle is in motion.
Vehicle Care: Food, hot drinks, and smoking (including e-cigarettes) are strictly prohibited inside the taxi.
Damage Fee: We reserve the right to charge a cleaning or repair fee if a passenger soils or damages the vehicle.
Refusal of Service: We reserve the right to refuse service to any passenger who appears intoxicated, abusive, or behaves in a way that compromises safety.

6. Liability Limits

Personal Belongings: We are not liable for the loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings left in the vehicle during or after the tour. Please check the vehicle before departing.
Indirect Losses: D&J Skone is not responsible for any indirect losses, missed flights, or missed connections caused by tour delays.
Personal Injury: Our vehicles carry standard UK commercial hire and reward insurance. However, passengers participate in any walking portions of the tour at their own risk.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
